Few weeks ago, I read from some blogs that BlogRush brings traffic to people by showing your latest post on the BlogRush widget. For a number of pageviews a day in your blog, your latest post will be showed in the widget of (number of pageviews) blogs. For example, if you got 100 pageviews, your post will be showed 100 times in blogs that has the widget.
Besides that, by referring your friends to join and ask them to install the widget in their blogs, their pageviews will be added to the number of times your post be shown. Let’s say your friend that you refer has 200 pageviews, then your post will be shown 200 times in the widget.

We often get asked if we accept credit cards, despite having a sign on the door that says Visa/ MC. Yes, we take credit cards. I can't imagine having a business that doesn't take credit cards. We also will take your debit card, although if the amount is under $20, you have to specify that you want a debit transaction. That's because it's cheaper for us to run your card as credit than it is to run it as debit, unless you're charging more than $20.
We would like to accept Canadian money, at par, particularly since it's doing so well against the dollar. Canadian money seems like it might be a better currency than ours. The problem is that our bank makes it very complex to deal with Canadian money. So no Canadian money for now.

The following day, June 13th, the agency’s Endocrinologic and Metabolic Drug Advisory Committee, a panel of outside experts, will air various concerns about Acomplia and its side-effects, and vote on whether to recommend FDA approval.
While the FDA does not have to follow the recommendations of its advisory committees, it generally does — and the combination of the staff report and the advisory panel vote should strongly signal what to expect in July when the regulatory agency’s decision on approval of rimonabant is now due.

I received and accepted the offer of full time employment from The Firm. As I said before, I had a great summer and I expect only more good things from The Firm. I guess only time will tell whether that actually turns out to be the case.I hope the fact that I now have at least some kind of certain future income stream does not adversely affect my spending habits. When you apply to a company, usually they do a real person check of the web site/blog to see if it’s the kind of web page they want their adverts on. Sometimes I’ve been immediately turned down, probably as they have found that I am not based in the U.S. Other times I have been turned down by financial advertisers as this site doesn’t have much to do with finance (Oh yeah. Your bank manager phoned and he wants you to call him immediately. Ed).

After watching an interview with a Linux cafe owner on TV, I started to think if Linux will ever be accepted in the mainstream. I saw in him the passion he had for Linux. Sanofi-aventis announced today that the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has accepted for filing the company’s New Drug Application (NDA) for rimonabant, the first agent in a new therapeutic class known as selective cannabinoid type 1 (CB1) blockers.
Rimonabant, discovered and developed by sanofi-aventis, is thought to represent a new approach for the comprehensive management of cardiovascular risk factors. The compound has been studied to date in over 6,500 overweight and obese adults for up to 2 years.
Despite therapeutic advances in recent decades, cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of mortality worldwide. Current treatments generally target risk factors individually, rather than providing a comprehensive management approach to such cardiovascular risks as dyslipidemia, abdominal obesity and insulin resistance, which comprise the metabolic syndrome.
