My last good nights’ sleep was back in February of 1990. That was before I found out that I was pregnant with my first child-a daughter who is now 17 and preparing to go away to college in the fall of this year. Since finding out I was pregnant 17 years ago, my sleep has been interrupted on a regualr basis. First it was worry and concern over having a healthy baby and once she was here it was worry about if I had what it would take to be a “good” mother. Over the years while the worries have changed, the interrupted and sometimes sleepless nights have stayed the same.

Looking at a sea of red ink in today's stock index changes after the Federal Reserve's biggest interest rate cut by 75 basis points in 24 years it appears the Fed is massively behind the curve. As only the combination of a US holiday and this rate cut had helped to prevent a crash on Monday and Tuesday this shows that investors worldwide highly doubt that the $140 billion stimulus package will help the USA to move out of the eye of the storm. Yesterday, I went to report to Clementi ITE for the interview. Jingkun did great help to assist me and guide me around. The department heads were super nice people. During the interview with Mr Peh, he was stricter than usual and that was admiring.I followed Jingkun to his lessons and learnt how he conducted his classes. Later, Mingfa came to pick me up and drove me to the Clementi Posbank, where I got my Giro form stamped. While waiting at the car park for Mingfa to pick Weitat up, a fortune-teller approached me and luckily they came back in time. We went back to Clementi ITE to pick Jingkun up and Mingfa treated us to late lunch nearby. Together, we went back to the ITE. Since I did not bring along my sports gears, I stayed for a while to watch Mingfa and Weitat conduct training and left home together with Jingkun after a while.I had problems sleeping at night again. Here is a letter in today's Elizabethton Star:Editor: I have looked with much interest at the advertisements for Christmas this year. There are some companies who refuse to list in their ads any reference to Christmas; using Family and Holiday instead. When there is no reference to Christ or Christmas, these companies are telling us they do not believe in honoring Christ's birth. We as consumers should not purchase Christmas gifts in their store. This time tomorrow, Mrs. Fab and I will be in the air on our way to Las Vegas for Blogworld and PostieCon.I haven't packed yet.  I am busy taking care of more important things, like practicing my Texas Hold'em skills and trying to find all my casino slot machine cards from the last time we were in Vegas.I am very excited to be meeting all the Posties that will be attending, and it will be good to see Ted and Karen and Peter and all the fine Izea folks again.  Gee whiz, after the focus group this summer I kind of figured that we would all be best friends and I would see them all the time.  I envisioned Ted as a Gatsby-like figure, throwing huge, fabulous parties in his enormous mansion, and we would all drink and dance and swap stories about when we were in the war...Didn't work out that way.  He probably lost my number.  I'll be sure to give it to him again in a few days when I see him.
