When he heard nothing more after a bit, he shook his head, promised himself a vacation after

CEDAR RAPIDS, IOWA. On Monday, a burglar made a huge mistake when he broke into Deirdre Rodriguez's home, who by the way is an ex-boxing champion. So, apperently this dude broke in while she and her son were sleeping, but on his way over the fence Rodriguez wakes up to see him tryingto jump over with their PS3, PSP and bunch of games. Then she runs out tells him she will beat the s#!t out of him if she catches him and the grabs an ice scraper speeding after the guy.Who at thistime jumped over the fence...she leaps over, he gets scared and drops the loot....she catches and hits him with the scraper in the head, then drag him back, makes him pick up the stuff and take them home to wait for the cops. Well, that's one guy missing out on GT: Prologue
Today I had to look up something in my friend LEO, the online German-English dictionary. Yes, I admit, I also don't know every English word!I was looking up "Klettermaxe" and the English meaning for it, which is "Cat Burglar", got me really laugh. This really fits! And it reminded me of Pumuckl's climbing tours through our apartment:Pumuckl likes to discover everything. He needs to put his nose everywhere, has to try to eat everything that crosses his way and he has to jump all he can reach. And everything he cannot reach he will try to reach until he reached it. Like the wall system in our living room...This wall system is not beautiful, but functional. It's about 2 m high, (Ups, when my boyfriend reads this he will punish me. I don't have this thing called visual judgment, but definitely
Last night, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Officers responded to 3421 Shamrock Drive after receiving a 911 call regarding a residential burglary and shooting incident.Police say the investigation revealed that Rontrey Digsby (Shown R)illegally forced entry into an occupied residence. As Digsby gained entry, he was shot by the homeowner and is in critical/stable condition at CMC. Digsby is charged with first degree burglary. As usual, Digsby has a long rap sheet going back to 2003 when he was convicted of common law robbery at age 17. In 2004, a Judge sentenced him to probation but he continued his criminal activites (10 arrests since 2005) without any consequences... If the Judges won't take the thugs off the street- it is good to see citizens taking care of business!

How convenient that Parshas Mishpatim falls this week. I received a link to this audio from the 2nd Amendment Foundation in my email. The Torah text comes from Navigating the Bible from the Ort website. As stated in the email:She is alive today because she had a handgun and defended herself. It only took five minutes for her attacker to make it to her locked bedroom where she hid herself in a closet. Only five minutes and the police were still on their way to help but were not there yet. I know no other human right in Judaism as important as the preservation of life.

ComputerWorld gives the 411 on Sony’s sexily named Vaio TZ191N - an ultraportable laptop with solid state drive. That’s right - this fanless beauty doesn’t have a hard drive, it rocks 32 GB of hard bodied solid state. It gets between 3.5 and 5.5 hours of battery, depending on your power setting and sports an 11″ screen. I mean that’s pretty good - still my years and years old Fujitsu P1120 is significantly lighter and has a longer lasting battery - sure you shave 2″ off the screen, but it makes up for that by having a touch screen! I love that lil guy…
Which is why I don’t live in Staten Island (ok, there’s other reasons I don’t live in Shaolin, no offense…) - the Ninja Burglar has struck again… and again! That’s right #17 and #18 have gone down - he robs places when people are in them. That’s ballsy and/or stupid. Still… it’s hard to argue with a guy who dresses up as a ninja, you know?

Most incredibly, he had gained a sixth sense that provided him with early warning of impending danger... Disguised, Peter tested his new-found abilities defeating professional wrestler Crusher Hogan in the ring, and earning some cash. Using his scientific prowess, he constructed a pair of artificial web-shooters that attached to his wrists. With an agent,

The arrogance of the Clintons has gone out of control. Anyone who votes for Hillary Clinton after hearing this breaking story has lost their mind. I am sorry, but she has no business being in the White House. To provide you with some background, Sandy Berger confessed to stealing documents from Bill Clinton’s National Archives before the 9/11 Commission hearings in 2003. The White House counterterrorism czar, Richard Clarke, trashed the Clinton administration with its handling of terrorism within those documents. But, Sandy Berger made sure nobody would ever see those documents. To ensure that nobody would see the documents, Berger stuffed his pants and socks with the documents and then destroyed them with scissors. When it was discovered that Berger was a burglar, he lied by saying it was an “honest mistake.” Bill Clinton even vouched for Berger’s actions; I am glad to see he had a trustworthy witness. Berger later confessed. The House Government Reform Committee revealed
Ok, we all know this real estate thing is getting big, but now does this trump everything? Does this signal a top in the market? A Titan Missile Base is for sale on ebay (via giz) It even has it’s own website. This thing is crazy, it has 3 160′ tall missile silos on 57 acres! It has 16 underground buildings. Read that twice. Sadly all the 1950’s vintage equipment was removed (yeah, no missiles there either) and to get this thing back up to the swinging bachelor pad it was meant to be would cost some millions o’ ducats. But how much just to buy this bad boy? $1.5million. That’s right, for the price of a small 2 bedroom apartment in manhattan, all that can be yours. I swear, I keep finding more and more reasons for me to win the big lottery. When, lord, when’s gonna be my time??
Perhaps I am in the wrong business. Computers are decent money, but Ninja Burglary - man, that’s the future (via gothamist). Some dude is going around Staten Island, dres

I have done some crazy shit after too many boggs and some of my friends have done some really crazy shit. Jerry B. Mahaffey, a U.S. Army recruiter, stepped it up last Friday night by breaking into a home naked and then sitting down for a nice session of porn surfing.
On the computer were several windows open on porn sites. The man was dressed only in shoes and socks, and was covered in cuts and bruises. Bloodstains were found in several rooms in the house. The man was identified as Jerry B. Mahaffey, a recruiter for the U.S. Army. Police later found his abandoned clothes behind The Laughing Lion, a local bar.
I think it is great that they found his clothes at a bar. That means the dude stripped and then travelled an unknown distance naked before picking out the perfect house for his late night porn surfing.

Leslie was your average single girl. She'd been in some good relationships, but more not so great ones it seemed. Her day job in the city was rather boring, but it wasn't too terribly hard and the pay was good. She had been living alone since she graduated from college a year ago. Sometimes she still got scared when she went to bed at night. Leslie wasn't a particularly nervous woman, but her house was on a street that wasn't very well lit and not in the best part of town.
This particular night she was very jumpy for some reason. She swore she had seen a dark figure in the kitchen window as she was turning off the lights to go to bed. As she darted for the bedroom and slammed the door behind her and locked it, a sigh of relief escaped her lips. Her heart was pounding and her mind was racing. "Did I see somebody or not? Maybe it was just a tree limb....or a stray cat....or maybe it was a serial killer!!" she thought.
This was getting out of hand. "Maybe

Sedarius Fuller, age 18, of Jackson was easily apprehended because his chosen victim was a member of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation! John Smith, a spokesperson for Fuller and leader of the local organization "Burglars United for Monetizing the Suburbs (B.U.M.S.)" had this to say:"[Fuller's] choice of targets was unfortunate for all of us. Our organization is committed to helping wealthy investors and local construction companies build newer and bigger retail developments throughout Madison County. Parking lot purse-snatching is our best tool for ensuring that retailers continue to abandon perfectly adequate facilities in the city in favor of clearing the country-side to build "safer" and more "family-friendly" retail complexes. Suburban-sprawl is a team effort and we need to work together to ensure t

A Canadian man has been jailed after a man that was burglarizing his home turned him in to police.
Police received a tip from the burglar who said that he had a video camera with images of child pornography that he would leave on the steps of a church. When the police viewed the video they realized that the burglar had videotaped a computer monitor displaying the pornographic images.
The police followed the address that was printed on the burglar’s note and seized computer equipment containing 13,315 pornographic images. How many of those images were of children is unknown, but that’s a buttload of porn for sure.
William Mitchell of Red Deer City plead guilty after being charged with having child porn on his computer and remains in prison until he is sentenced on December 1. I’m not familiar with Canadian law, but let’s hope that the sentence involves castration.
The burglary remains unsolved, but it’s good to know that even burglars have morals.
