Christmas Time and a New Coat
Well, I love to shop. Let's put that out there right up front. I don't have as much money as I'd like to shop as much as I'd like so when I do it, I do it right. haha No I don't blow tons of money on myself. I search for sales. It's half the fun! I like to buy shoes. I like to buy clothes and coats, jackets even food! I love going out to eat probably more than just about anything. I may not look l

      Christmas Time
The latter half of the year for our family is one laden with celebrations. To kick it off way back in August is my dads birthday and from there on, the festivities never end. To end it all, we have a wonderful holiday that almost everyone around the world knows- Christmas. That is exactly what I love most about this holiday (except the plethora of presents of course); everyone celebrates it. A

      Christmas Time Death
When death must come at Christmastime,There is a special grief,A mourning that must mix with joy,A pain that must be brief. There is an anguish underneathThe labyrinth of lightThat longs for simple emptinessTo contemplate the night. But life must bubble on its wayAnd pleasure be put on,For neither sorrow nor delightIs ever left alone. And, like the Virgin, we must smileWith enigmatic graceAs we recei

      Remember This at Christmas Time
Some fun facts about reindeerHo! Ho! Ho!                                                                   REMEMBER THIS AT CHRISTMAS TIMEAccording to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summereach year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring. Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.We should've known... Christmas time, Girls Aloud and wine...
Those darling Girls Aloud have just been the guest hosts of Channel 4's The Friday Night Project, and vare funny they were too. Being good sports they dressed up and fooled around, like this nativity scene above singing A Gay in a Manger with Alan Carr (the poove in the manger) and Justin Lee Collins. And until the clips appear on YouTube, who knew Nicola was so ballsy and good at the goofy acting malarky. Sarah Hard-on (as Alan kept calling her) had a few too many Chardonnays, but she's a happy drunk, so that's OK. Cheryl was sweet as cheryl pie. Kimberley's voice is getting lower and lower. And I still can't understand a word Nadine says. P.S. they did a fab choreographed version of Can't Speak French. The new single methinks.

12 Days of Christmas: Charlie Brown's Christmas Time Is Here
The only thing more adorable than the movie itself is the soundtrack of course, which I proudly own and will play during say, a heat wave in the middle of June (though I forsake cuddling up to a warm blanket in my sweats with hot cocoa.)

      Christmas Time - Wisdom Reflections
It seems like every year at this time my person to person spirit grows stronger. I generally have a little more spring in our step and a smile on my face. I also find myself continously reflecting on the past year(s) and doing what I call ‘wisdom development’ meaning that I make conscious some of my lifes lessons and human operating paradigms. (Had to throw in some business lingo) Below are some widom thoughts that ring true with me as written by Andy Rooney. I’ve learned…. That the best classroom in the world is at the feet of an elderly person. I’ve learned…. That when you’re in love, it shows. I’ve learned…. That just one person saying to me, ‘You’ve made my day!’ makes my day. I’ve learned…. That having a child fall asleep in your arms is one of the most peaceful feelings in the world. I’ve learned…. That being kind is more important than being right. I’ve learned….

      "Christmas Time, Mistletoe & Wine..."
It's that time of year again.... It's time to clamber into the attic and dig out the tree that has been hiding in a carboard box for the past 49 weeks.... It's time to plug in the lights and count how many are not working this year...It's time to dig deep inside my soul and find that festive spirit that is a little bit lost at the moment...My tree isn't great and is a little on the small side. My lounge isn't big enough for a large tree. I'm struggling with inspiration tonight, so make adjust the decorations later in the week. However, there is something magical about switching off the main room lamp and watching the tree lights sparkle.I picked up a bag of fake snow from the local Garden Centre and sprinkled it over the tree. It seems to add a little character and depth to the decorations.I will be visiting London over the next couple of weeks, so will be sure to take some photographs and video of our stunning capital city in all of it's full christmas splendor. A letter from the heart at Christmas time
Dear Friends and readers,It has been six months now since I started this niche blog and I’ll never regret it.In my search for you know what, I have come to discover that there is another world out there I never really knew existed. I thought I was on my Pat Malone when it came to getting my own unique message across the blogesphere, but how wrong could I have been.In the quest for my own Holy Grail I have come across so many others like me that share their thoughts and images to others that are completely unknown to them in order to get their message across. What would you say to all of this? To me it shows that an individual, no matter what their lot in life or how small they feel, all share a common goal - to be heard amongst the countless millions of others that have a story to share and tell on this fragile place called mother earth. It also reminds me that helping others in times of trouble, especially when it comes to missing members of family, is of utmost importance. My friend M

Christmas time is highly stressful for the unemployed
I know all too well the feelings of stress around Christmas time when a person is unemployed or if their business is not doing well. This is my second year in a row that I have been unemployed at this time of year. Last year my only real Christmas gift was a phone call telling me that I start a new job the first week of the new year. It took the sting out of the stress just in time to relax on

But this surfaced in Youtube, so here you go... Zac, Lucas & Chris were MIA. We hope you forgive us for not letting you know ahead of time. We really just didn't want to give you an unconfirmed information. The parade will be shown on ABC

Christmas time, dismissal, woe and whine
Its been a strange week, nothing seems to have happened yet the reality is quite to the contrary. Like I said strange, huh? There are a few things I have not been able to get my head around. Firstly and my main complaint has to be the aggressive generic letters I have received. One from the TV licensing company telling me to ‘cough up or else’ or alternatively if I don’t have a TV (which I don’t) I should inform them by ringing their premium rate number. Fuck off will I, they can waste their money sending more generic letters that I’ll ignore.Secondly the ‘Dear Resident’ letter I received from the beloved site manager team, yes those fuckers. They have decided to tell me to stop smoking cigarettes, cigars, pipes and hookah (which they informed me is another word for shisha). I don’t particularly care if the other students covertly smoke out of their bedroom windows, but I don’t appreciate the site manager team’s indiscriminate approach to heckling the non-smokers.I w

      Christmas Time in the City
Ho! Ho! Ho! It’s Christmas time in the city and the admin staff is busy trying to find a venue for the department’s Christmas dinner. The dinner is a big event where Rupert shelves out a load of cash (carves out a portion of the department’s entertainment budget provided by the firm) and invites everyone in the department to a boozy dinner followed by a bar and club night. Christmas Time
Well, I havent been terribly good at blogging over the past few weeks. In truth I've been deathly depressed and just havent had the energy for it. Despite my dreadful moods life has been going along kind of ok. Mum is continuing to get better and nothing has gone especially wrong. Ive been listeniong to lectures and reading. Got some wonderful books for christmas. A history of egypt, a history of the french revolution, a sort of biography of hetshepsut and empress orchid - yay for books :). I managed to weird[1] myself out a week ago. I was so sick of taking psychiatric meds I stopped taking them. Bad idea. I got better when I started taking my pills again. Had a lovely experience as I was walking up to waitrose. I saw myself reflected in the window and not recognising myself thought that I was (really huge) woman. :) I think that I'm improving again. I hate these mood swings. [1] Mad.

      Christmas Time In Bethlehem
The Western World is shopping for Christmas. Christmas for Western societies is perhaps the most important economic event. During this time of mass consumption, when goods of all kinds are purchased, in Bethlehem; the birthplace of Jesus Christ, it is a somber, desperate time, for the inhabitants. If you believe in Christmas, Bethlehem may be no place for you. The Little Town, since antiquity an emotional world capital of Christianity, is steadily becoming a city without Christians. The exodus of Bethlehem's Christian Palestinians, spurred by Israel's military occupation and settlement policies, the violence and upheaval of the intifada, as well as beckoning opportunities in the Americas and elsewhere, has left a town that was 80 percent Christian in 1948, to one that is now 85 percent Muslim.Read more*Christmas 2006:Is Jesus still a Palestinian? The Hamas government, often labelled by the international community as Islamic militants, has promised to donate US$50,000 to prepare Bethlehe

      Christmas Time is Here
... Happiness and cheer ... that's what all the children call their favorite time of year ... snowflakes in the air ... ummmm ...Charlie Brown: I think there must be something wrong with New York, Linus. Christmas is coming, but it doesn't feel the way it's supposed to feel. It was in the mid-sixties outside today. A Charlie Brown Christmas Trivia (from Wikipedia)- The special has not been seen in its original, uncut form since the first three telecasts in 1965, 1966 and 1967. Much of this is due to the opening and closing credits containing references to Coca-Cola, the show's original sponsor.- The actors, all of them children, learned their lines phonetically, often not knowing what they meant. This led to the now-familiar Peanuts delivery style.- All of the versions of the show broadcast on CBS between 1968 and 1996, and the earliest home video release were edited to completely delete the scene where the gang throws snowballs at a [Coca-Cola] can on a fence.- Just before her rem
