According to a report on the National Geographic, studies have shown that crocodiles  really do shed tears when they’re shredding their victims to pieces, but for biological reasons and not because they’re feeling apologetic to the offspring of the nice gazelle she’s just sank her teeth in. “Crocodiles appear to produce tears all the time,” said croc expert Adam Britton, founder of the informational Web site Crocodilian.com. “Their function is—like our own tears—to lubricate the eye. This may be even more relevant for crocodiles because they have a third eyelid,” also known as a nictitating membrane. Yeah. I said it. I would not be caught dead in a pair of Crocs. If I should happen to die tomorrow, and the mortician tries to slide a pair of those ugly, foamy, gummy, bright swiss cheese shoes on my feet, my corpse will rise up and slap the bejeesus out of him. My hatred runs that deep. Nothing says “I really don’t care how I look anymore” like a pair of these bad boys on your feet. I’m sure that they are very comfortable…I mean, why else would anyone wear them? I’m all for comfort, but I draw the line at wearing a pair of Crocs. There are plenty of tacky, yet very comfortable alternatives on the market that are slightly less hideous than Crocs. Birkenstocks with tube socks if you’re a hippie stoner. House shoes and church socks if you’re ghetto. All-black walking shoes  if you’re an old man. The list goes on and on…Yet, every choice, as unfashionable as it is, beats the hell out of being seen in a pair of Crocs. I

Ok, I did mention a while ago that I think Crocs are a fashion crime, and shouldn't leave your backyards... But now I'm serious. There are several reasons why you should pack your Crocs, and especially your child's Crocs, for the rest of the year, and take them out for only for your next visit to the beach. I don't go that far that I'd say I hate Crocs, and I am aware of the good qualities of them too. Light-weight, lots of room for toes. No arch support, barefoot like walking. In some instances, all good stuff, I know. Still you can't make me buy them. I don't care who wears them, and how IN they are. I won't wear them. Seriously? Why? Why god why? Crocs have invaded the world and it's getting to me a little bit.Why do people think this is an ok fashion statement? What statement are you trying to make here? "I want the world to know I spent twelve dollars on shoes!" I remember...oh..back in 2003 when these shoes were popular at my granola wannabe hippy college out in the midwest. Now I see people strutting down 5th Avenue wearing jank plastic shoes that they apparently stole from their Long Island summer home's gardener. Boo to that. People say "oh they're so comfortable". So are sweat pants but some people have the common sense that just cause it feels good, doesn't mean it looks good. See you at Burning Man hippy. One more thing...if you're going to wear crocs...leave the socks at home. Same with sandles. It's like the riddle of the Sphynx to me. The farm is located about 30km south of the city, you can get there by driving south along the Kuching-Serian Road and take a left turn at a junction just after you pass through Siburan township (see map attached). The signboard is not too great, so be sure to slow down once you pass under an overhead crossing and a Chinese school on your left side (Siburan town is on your right).My wife and son were there a few months back. Apart from crocs, they also have other animals such as the bear cat, wild boars and jungle fowls. Be sure to keep your hands in your pockets!
