For those of you who can't afford or refuse to part with the big bucks for Pocket Wizards Wireless Flash Triggers, there is always the less expensive, Chinese made 'Ghetto Triggers'. Notoriously cheap, poorly made and somewhat unreliable, they are nevertheless very popular items on E-bay that have made their way into most retail photography shops and a lot of Pro Shooter's camera bags. Some Remote Trigger Units being more dependable than others, you have to ask around on the photographers net forums to find a batch from a manufacturer / seller that has proven itself in daily use. The remotes currently offered on E-bay are hands down, more powerful and reliable than the units being produced just a few years ago. I own one myself and use it frequently with very few problems. I didn't read many comics in the 1990s, at least not during the middle 1990s, when gems like Vemon: The Hunted came out. I missed the symbiote invasion entirely. So what possessed me to read this one? Access, a desire to see Rouleau's artwork and a sleeping girlfriend.Venom goes skateboarding in this comic book. Well, Eddie Brock anyway. I guess there's never any Venom on a skateboard scene. But Venom on a skateboard kind of sums up this series, which--obviously--utterly sucks. It's probably the first Larry Hama comic book I've read in... ten years plus.Hama sucks, but his dialogue's a standard bad, it's utterly unexceptional. Don't say I didn't warn you! The New York Yankees who many gave up for dead and buried in June, are partying like it's 1978. The team that was a game below .500 and ten games behind the Boston Red Sox at the All-Star break is now sitting at 51-46 and 7.5 behind Boston and going into Sunday night six games behind Cleveland for the Wild Card slot. Sunday afternoon's hero was the new kid on the block Shelley Duncan who had two home runs as the Yankees simply shellacked the Tampa Bay Devil Rays 21-4. Duncan the son of former MLB catcher and current ST Louis Cardinals pitching coach Dave Duncan, is a recent call up from the the Yankees Triple A team in Scranton-Wilkes Barre. New York starter Andy Petite got the win evening his season record at 6-6. New York got 25 hits the second game in a row they had at least 20, as they walloped the Devil Rays in the second game of Saturday's twin-bill 17-5. The Yankees took 3-4 from Tampa Bay and have gone 9-3 since coming back from the break.© Co

He has issued invitations to all candidates running for president to appear on the show when they are in New Hampshire. To date most of the Republican candidates have been on several times. This is a fantastic video of Duncan Hunter at the recent Republican debate. He put the blame for our wide open southern border squarely where it belongs, on the Bush administration. The video is from YouTube but is also displayed on the front page of Duncan Hunters official campaign website Go Hunter '08. He so has the needed attitude about securing our borders. He just flat says it's ridiculous to try to stop terrorism here at home with our southern border hanging wide open. Imagine Bush and Cheney at the Mexican border both in Wal Mart greeters vests meeting the illegals and giving them maps to the nearest DMV and welfare office.
