Oh.... *hiccup* ...I don't feel very good. I'm still so drunk! I had such a wonderful night out. *hiccup* Maybe partied too hard. I do like to party! Oh, but... *hiccup* The bright morning light is KILLING my eyes! *hiccup* And I can't walk straight. *hiccup* I feel so dizzy!
We had a fantastic Halloween party here. Some of the older children did go out trick or treating with their adult brother Mike as a chaperone. All the younger ones participated in a party here at the house. They all really had a great time but I was exhausted by the end of the night. At 6:30 in the morning I was awakened by the phone ringing. At that early in the morning nobody calls unless it's

Early MorningWatercolourSketchbookStill and clear blue sky, the tide moves gradually, water gently lapping round seaweed covered stones, a bird calls and the day begins.
Ten years ago, I would wake up at 5 in the morning. I would then proceed to ride my bmx bike roughly 4 miles to church. At 6 am in the morning, the church I went to did something called 6 am prayer. It usually consisted of myself, the pastor, and his mother in law. It was hardcore at the time.I have yet to meet another person who has a story like that. Most of the times, I'll be honest, I feel asle
Early Morning, Roscoff.WatercolourSketchbook.A flying visit to France to clear out our house and bring all of our worldly goods back to England. We treated ourselves to a very nice hotel for the night in Roscoff. Our room had a balcony overlooking the sea. In the early hours I sat and watched as the fingers of pale morning light crept from behind the sea and slowly brought the little islands int
I awoke at 4:45am to the now familiar series of beeps from my Casio Pathfinder watch. I set my alarms the night before, figuring I could always go back to sleep if I didn’t feel like making my way down to the Ganges River for a sunrise boat ride along the ghats. [...]

Today was the Hopper House paintout/auction, so I woke up early and headed across the Hudson River to Memorial Park in Nyack. I got this one done before it got too hot out. The paintings all had to be turned in, framed, before 3pm. I was able to [...]
Good Afternoon,I have a good excuse to being late posting today. All because I have a handy dandy husband. He was so proud to tell me he had the hoe fixed that I had broken and now I could hoe the garden. I was thrilled! So, early this morning that is what I did. Before the sun was up good me and the hoe( the garden one) was in the garden.I worked until the sun was shining and it was getting hot.T
At 5 in the morning the world seems different and so peaceful. First time in my life I didn’t bother to take on my hearing-aids going out of the house. I am accepting my deafness more every day and learning to live with it. Strange occasion to realize it on, but very serene and pure… [...]
He's so enjoyable when he first wakes. Not that he isn't at other times, but morning Conor is quite different. He's very quietly spoken, very lucid and talks incessantly about what happened when he woke and what he's about to do next:"It's not dark now. I get up. I went to the toilet. Good Con-Cons". He claps. "I need knickers and pants. It's cold. Con-Cons wants food now. Mummy has a c
Morning everyone!Sorry about bailing on everyone last night man. I was just pooped. I finally overcame the staying up all night and sleeping all day nonsense. I now keep some very early hours, and I mean VERY early. I mean as in, being in bed at 9:00 P.M. and being up at 4:00 A.M., I would say "old people" hours, but I'm 35, so, I'll just refrain from the old people jokes. You young punks quit that damn snickering, ya hear? and get off my lawn! Anyhow, silliness aside, I have been snooping around this morning on the Politics sites, and I've seen how Barry and Hillary made out. As most people know, Barry pulled off a big victory in North Carolina. Which I wasn't surprised to hear about. Although, his victory there was racially lopsided, they say. As for Hillary, she squeaked one out, in Ind
4AM going to the gym I stop at a McDonald’s and I eat a Mcgriddles breakfast sandwich with 2 hash-browns. I go to the Rally’s gay station and I buy a water and a Red-bull. I drink the red-bull before I get to the gym and I feel pumped.

The Dow this morning formed a near idea bear flag pattern that revealed itself to savvy traders.
The only thing keeping this pattern from being ideal was that the market was unable to retrace back to the falling 20 period moving average, which was a further sign of market weakness developing.
Ideal entry (short) would have been [...]

Good morning and Good night everyone! It was 1.52AM and I still don’t have enough tiredness to sleep. My body was still powered with energy, and I still can blog, while eating cadbury chocs and drinking cokes. I spend my whole day today in front of my laptop, customizing, adding widgets, fixing bugs, [...]
I'm thinking of changing the name of my blog. "Early Morning Martyr" has a nice ring to it and seems so fitting. I love to sleep in... but haven't had a chance (consistently) since my first was born, nearly 10 years ago. And also. mornings are cah ray zay. This morning Tim got to see what a weekday morning really looks like. A crazy, full of drama morning. "Do you see?" I asked... "Do you see why I'm an early morning martyr now???" Dude. I totally see.We got the kids to school and made it to the doctors office. Again. This time for Elijah's 18 month checkup (HEALTHY! 27 pounds!) and my 12.5 week check up (HEALTHY!) I lost 5 pounds, even though I LOOK 5 months pregnant. Apparently my weight is being redistributed? We found a strong heartbeat, which put my mind at ease after weeks
At three o'clock one morning, a veterinarian was awakened from a deep sleep by the ringing of the telephone. He staggered downstairs and answered the phone.
"I'm sorry if I woke you," said a voice at the other end of the line.
"That's all right," said the veterinarian. "I had to get up to answer the telephone anyway."
A predawn explosion rocked a section of New York City's Time Square. It happened at about 3:45am, causing minor damage to a recruiting station used by the Marines, Air Force, and Navy.
Here's another report about a pedestrian being struck by a car while crossing an intersection in the early morning hours in Seattle.
If you recall, there was some reports about the increase of pedestrian-auto accidents during daylight saving time. The theory being that when daylight saving time goes into effect, it is much darker outside in the morning hours. Thus, more pedestrians are struck by motorists who cannot adequately see the person when it is so dark out. See also Wikipedia's report on daylight saving time and the increase of pedestrian accidents.
The Washington State Department of Transportation warns:
During this period of dark, rainy and foggy conditions, drivers are reminded to watch for pedestrians along school bus routes, intersections and transit stops

I'm still here on the left coast, and have been working my arse off for the past few days. I was reading Roch's blog before my conference call, and today's is a must read.Aubrey doesn't get it, and trust me, the people who are loyal enough to see the Orioles next year will rain down on him bad. Right now, Millar and Gibbons should be happy they are not in the news, but there's a news flash for both men; people in the region have a long memory. His performance may have been cool to some; however, almost a week later, people are still furious with him and the team is certainly not happy."I just think it was tasteless and offensive, and you can count me among those offended," said Andy MacPhail, Orioles president of baseball operations. The Orioles have expressed their feelings to Huff. This could be a delicate issue because, though the Orioles don't want to give the appearance they're abandoning one of their players, they also likely don't want to seem to condone his behavior.Oriol
It was a peaceful, but rainy, Sunday morning in the neighborhood when all of a sudden a loud alarm disturbed my slumber. What the heck? As I jumped out of bed, tripped over something on the floor (can anyone say Lasik?), and ran to the window, the alarm got louder and louder.
A few years ago, the same thing happened only it was my neighbor’s car alarm that was going off. Apparently, my next door neighbor’s jeep was on fire and my car was parked right next to it. The guy across the street set off his car alarm to wake the neighborhood. Thank goodness because I would have slept right through it. My crazy husband started frantically searching for his keys. “Where do you think you’re going?” I asked. Believe it or not, he wanted to jump into the car and move it away. Did I ever tell you that I think he’s nuts sometimes?
Anyway, back to the current situation. As I looked out the window, I noticed a few of my curious neighbors out on the street in their p

One of the tips I remember being given a very long time ago is "never neglect a chance to sketch in early morning or early evening light" as the light, colours and shapes can be a lot more interesting. So if I'm occupying a bed away from home I always look out the window very
I woke up this morning and the sky was clear - not a cloud in sight. The mist was begining to lift as the air began to warm. A golden opportunity to take a short 5 minute trip into the cotswolds to take some photos at one of my favourite locations - Lechlade.Lechlade is a small village that has a very young river Thames running through it. The river Thames starts not far from here and travels easterly to the capital city of London.Following the heavy downpour of rain that we had earlier this week, many of the fields and woodlands were waterlogged. This gave the secenery an even greater sense of Autumn. The photo below is one of my favourite shots of the morning, the ground was still wet with dew and covered in cobwebs. I think images like this one truly represent the time of year. The bridge over the river Thames is a great place to stand and watch the mist slowly drift away from the river......The two photographs below were taken standing on the bridge within a couple of minutes of each

A not unfamiliar feeling but unfamiliar circumstances led to three points and entering the international break at the peak of the Premier League. RvP’s late winner showed a mental resilience that the team have developed through their growing maturity, dropping a two goal lead will be something that will probably concern Arsene more than anything over the coming days. It is hard to say what brought about the lapses; was it tiredness, complacency or a mixture of both? Whatever it was, the warning received today will, hopefully, not be easily forgotten.
Both goals were disappointing to concede. Clichy was caught on the backfoot for the first, the ball travelling a long way to reach Jones behind him. From there on, it was a catalogue of misfortune, poor timing and poor positioning.

So I got up at 4:40 this morning my time to be part of an announcement at 5:00 AM. It ended up being a no trade for me. The variance to expected results for the Canadian announcement was insignificant, and although there was a shift it was not great enough to matter.
Good morning, world. It’s 7:40am and I’m here in the Ateneo typing the early wee hours away inside the RSF. Blame it on my two early-bird sisters, who made me wake up at 5:30 for a 9:30am class. So, what best way to waste time than contemplative blogging 101.
First of all, let me thank all those wonderful people who commented at my previous emo-ridden entry. To those who txted and expressed their concern, let me just say that all of you guys really helped lift my spirits up. I would want to hug y’all. haha. It’s amazing how you guys tried to interpret what I said, and found it in you to relate to me and my drama-queen-esque mode. I think I’ve perfected (or at least close to) the subtle way of expressing my raw and assertive emotions discreetly and vaguely.
Right now, I’m better. I’ve been striving for positive vibes, and at least now, I think I know where to get them from. Of course, I still think I’m pretty much unstable – rela
Early Morning Garden. Watercolour, sketchbook.Out and about early this morning I snatched a moment to doodle the morning garden just as it emerged from the shadows with the first rays of the day catching the tops of the lavenders. Tall verbena flowers nod on delicate stalks like wandering sprits in the gloom. The air is already warm and scented with the heady notes of sweet peas and honeysuckle. Have a good weekend.
My complete and total mortification, courtesy of my youngest.
The resolution(and a hilarious product review). Oh, and our bio’s are up here, though Jen’s a little shy with her pic right now. She’s 4 weeks post-partum, we’ll give her a little time.
And finally another humiliating moment, inspired by our TopBlogMag theme “How Embarrassing”. Head on over [...]

Today, very early today I attended the Tibi show designed by Amy Smilovic. The show started a 9 o'clock. I live in NJ so I basically I had to wake 3 hours before the show started also known as 6 o'clock. I arrived in NYC exactly has I remember 8:45, I then brilliantly hailed a cab right away during rush hour and arrived at the Tents at 9:04. When I went to the press desk a resilient pr girl smiled from ear to ear and ask me, "Last name?" When I told her my last name she gave me ticket for the standing room. So while I was waiting around the fountain, it dawn on me majority of these chicettes here are waiting for the Monique Lhuiller show; which is understandable for the fabulous clothes early in the morning. The Tibi show was really cute and wearable. I noticed in the Tibi runway show and other runway shows that designers are putting gloves with certain looks and I love that. Tibi collection was sort of a reminisce of the Great Gatsby. My favorite looks from the show was the deco dro

What is this confessional fever that grips me? Why must I chronicle every detail of my life? Is it because I fear it's a dream and believe that by fixing it on hundreds of screens I will somehow make it more lasting? When I woke this morning in Bloomsbury, the buildings through the blinds were orange in the sun, the sky was a delicious blue. My friend was pulling on his bespoke tailored suit, telling me not to get up, saying he'd set the alarm for later. But how could I sleep with this vision before me? This jacket so exquisitely tapered. These perfect white cuffs showing just below the sleeves. I wanted to reach up and pull him on top of me, to feel the cashmere bristling beneath my hands. Unfortunately he'd committed to breakfast with a banker. He had to go out into the cold. I slept for what felt like days, but when I woke it was 8.00. The bed was a ball of warmth that had somehow turned me to lead. How was I going to get out of here when my bones were made of lead? I had no choi
I'm sat at the computer, listening to my media player on 'Play Shuffled' after getting back from my papers, bored so I just started tapping out some musings for my blog to pass the time. There hasn't been much paddling recently for me. Other people have been - what with Scotland seeing some pretty nice levels this week and the Wet West Weekend two weekends ago - but I've not been getting out on the fluffy white stuff. I've been plagued with excessive work loads at college, university open days and other things which prevent paddling.I was in the pool last night as the head coach of the local canoe club's beginners session. This was the second session of three and many of the pupils seems to be coming on nicely - who knows they may be bagging some nice rivers this winter when they start heading away from the pool to some proper water. I hope to get some personal first descents in myself this year on some Lake District classics. I'm bored of running the same things, I want to
My laziness delayed me till after midnight when my determination won over it. I dragged myself down to the third storey where I usually jogged at the open space. Six rounds around the neighbour were killing me right at the second lap when my stomach started to act weird. At first I thought it was either my stamina had weakened once again or sleepiness had caught me, until the last round when I realised I had forgotten to take in deep breaths. I had to slow down and both my palms had to press onto the sides in order to comfort my stomach.I always thought I would outrun the previous timing which was the worst of my entire records. I had failed entirely. 16'07 - to me, it was such a disgrace.Anyway, before I went down, I had a short chat with my fake sister, Kailin, who promised to jog with me next time. We also had a rule that she should never run faster than me.After the jogSweat..Sweat? Yes, under the dead skin!
