A produtora SNK Playmore USA Corporation anunciou hoje que enviou a todas as lojas da América do Norte o jogo"Fatal Fury: Battle Archives Vol. 2", lançamento para Playstation 2.

Isn’t Terry Bogard supposed to be a bad-ass street fighter? This guy on the left looks more like a beggar. He got the colors of his costume right, even the Fatal Fury baseball cap, but everything else is hilariously bad. I’ll look at this picture every time feel a bit down to regain my confidence.Blue Mary is hot, but this broad is, um, not as hot. I mean, she’s a sexy MILF, but she’s either pregnant with twins or already had a baby like 3 minutes ago. Look how tight Blue Mary looks on the right. It’s tough for any mature woman to look that good. She still gets credit for trying. You go, girl!I’ve got mixed feeling about this Andy Bogard cosplay. The costume is pretty awesome and the guy sort of looks like him, but at first I didn’t know if it was a guy or a girl. Sorry dude,
This past Tuesday, SNK Playmore provided the first look at their latest Pachislot machine based on the popular Fatal Fury franchise (in specific Fatal Fury Special). Though I've never been a big slot machine fan myself, the SNK fan inside of me can at least appreciate the aesthetics. I just can't help but wonder though if SNK Playmore was as dedicated to 2D fighting games as they are to the Pachislot/Pachinko industry, we possibly could've been playing King of Fighters XII earlier this year. For those who are unfamiliar with Pachislot machines, the game acts very similar to a classic slot machine with one exception: the machines have 3 buttons underneath the "wheel" area that allows you to stop the rotations one at a time. This adds a slight degree of skill (or illusion of skill depending on who you speak to) to the game despite the underpinnings still being based mostly on randomness and luck.SNK Playmore Japan has already posted a teaser site for the Pachislot game. If you go
Three months after the game was originally rated by the ESRB and nearly a year and half after it was first announced, Fatal Fury Special is finally moving closer to being available for Xbox 360 gamers. The official Xbox.com Xbox Live Arcade page for the game was launched earlier this week, and though the game is still set as being having "TBD" release date, some additional details were finally revealed in regards to the release of the classic arcade fighter. The game is set with a cost of 400 Market place points, which is better than good based on the recently released Fatal Fury Battle Archive Volume 1 (which compiled this game and three others together without online play for $14.99). I'm crossing my fingers that next week may indeed be the week we finally get our hands on our first NEO GEO fighter for XBLA.The grandmother (Personal note: I guess this means that Street Fighter II is the grand-daddy if I'm following their logic) of all fighting games is here, with FATAL FURY SPECIA
When it comes to Fatal Fury, most gamers will fall into one of two camps. The first camp will be those clearly lapping up the scraps that Capcom feeds them and who will view Fatal Fury as being nothing more than a SNK knock off of Capcom's Street Fighter II (which pre-dated Fatal Fury by a couple of months). The second camp, SNK fans, will often elevate Fatal Fury into near mythic proportions and view the game without considering its rather obvious flaws and issues, judging it by a standard that in their minds was not exceeded until SNK's own later efforts. The problem with both of these views is that neither one of them tells the whole truth. To me personally, Fatal Fury is a bit of an enigma. It is an origin tale, not only of a brand, but of a company's strength as a developer. And like most origin tales, Fatal Fury is not as refined or as detailed as its successors (such as King of Fighters).Despite these issues, the games compiled on this collection feature an innovative loo
Originally set for release on August 7th in US, but seems to have gone MIA, no reviews available at the time of posting. This compilation includes four classic Fatal Fury games: Fatal Fury 1, 2, 3 and Fatal Fury Special.

SNK Playmore USA has announced today that it is now shipping the latest SNK NEO GEO compilation in the United States. Fatal Fury Battle Archive Volume 1 for the PS2 should be available on store shelves starting today or tomorrow. Though the overall quality of games in this collection is greater than those of Art of Fighting Anthology, once again SNK Playmore USA has stripped away the bread and butter of the Japanese release (online play) for a much more "bare-bones" approach. What this does mean for the customers and fans of the series and 2D fighting games in general is that even though we are losing out on online play, the entry price point on the title will be a hard to resist $14.99. I'm working on a video review for Fatal Fury Battle Archive Volume 1, similar to what I completed with Art of Fighting Anthology earlier this year.Currently in Japan, World Heroes Gorgeous is scheduled to be the next NEO GEO Online compilation to be released for the PS2. The game will hit the shelv
Though we knew about this localization effort since it has been listed on the "in development" page on the official SNK Playmore USA website for a while now, it's nice that SNK Playmore USA decided to finally release a press release "announcing" the title. This should be a great counter balance to Art of Fighting Anthology, since Fatal Fury Battle Archives volume 1 consists of a much higher quality series of titles in it's collection. This is two down SNK Playmore USA... Only 8 more to go. We are going to get the rest of these collections from Japan, right? Released in 1992 by SNK, FATAL FURY 2 is the second installment in the renowned fighting-game series.
