For those unfamiliar with the term, FOREX (FOReign EXchange market), refers to an international exchange market where currencies are bought and sold. The Foreign Exchange Market that we see today began in the 1970's, when free exchange rates and floating currencies were introduced. In such an environment only participants in the market determine the price of one currency against another, based upon supply and demand for that currency.FOREX is a somewhat unique market for a number of reasons. Firstly, it is one of the few markets in which it can be said with very few qualifications that it is free of external controls and that it cannot be manipulated. It is also the largest liquid financial market, with trade reaching between 1 and 1.5 trillion US dollars a day. With this much money moving this fast, it is clear why a single investor would find it near impossible to significantly affect the price of a major currency. Furthermore, the liquidity of the market means that unlike some rare

Although it has not been publicly announced yet, Capital One has informed their marketing partners that they will start charging foreign exchange fees for credit card purchases outside of the U.S. at some point soon.
This deals a major blow to credit card consumers who have relied on Capital One credit cards as being one of the last major credit card issuers that still doesn’t charge foreign exchange fees.
Credit card issuers started charging foreign exchange fees years ago to make up for the fees that MasterCard and Visa charge them. Plus, they usually add an additional fee on top of this. Only a few major issuers, like Capital One and Discover, still do not charge foreign exchange fees.
The credit card foreign exchange fees for several major credit card issuers are listed below.

Forex - The Ultimate Home BusinessWhat is FOREX?The Foreign Exchange market, also called the "Forex" or simply "FXâ€, is the largest financial market in the world, with about $2 trillion traded everyday. By comparing forex to the $25 billion of volume that the New York Stock Exchange trades daily, you can see how big the Foreign Exchange Market really is. It actually is three times the size of the stocks and futures markets combined! Forex is insanely huge. What is traded on the Foreign Exchange?Money. Forex trading where you simultaneous buy one currency and sell another. Currencies are traded through either a broker or dealer, and are traded in pairs; for example, you can trade the Euro and the US dollar (EUR/USD) or the British pound and the Japanese Yen (GBP/JPY).Since you're not buying anything material, this kind of trading is confusing. Think of buying a currency as buying a share in a country. When you buy Japanese Yen, you are actually buying a share in the Japanese economy

Foreign Exchange Swaps - Calculating Interest On Forex TradesBy Donald SaundersOne of the beauties of Forex trading lies in the ability to trade using leverage, which is often as high as 1,000 times your capital. In other words, you can effectively borrow up to 1,000 times your capital in order to trade. But borrowing money to trade is no different to borrowing money for any other purpose and you will be charged interest. However, because every transaction involves both buying and selling currency, interest payments payable on money borrowed to fund a transaction can be offset by interest earned on the currency held. If this seems a little confusing we'll look at an example in a moment, but first it is worth just taking a moment to examine the subject of interest rates in general to see the

FreedomRocks and thousands of its members have experienced tremendous success since we combined our foreign exchange (forex) investment strategy with our state-of-the-art business plan in November of 2005. To ensure we continue this level of success and growth for many years to come, I’d like to take this opportunity to address a few issues.
Enthusiasm is a wonderful thing. And while it is certainly natural to be excited about the significant earning potential our system may have demonstrated in the past, there is a very real issue in being too zealous when talking (in particular) about trading and foreign exchange.
FreedomRocks members who choose to become independent representatives (and be compensated for sharing our program with others) must take our mandatory compliance course. When talking about trading results in your normal prospecting activities, it is important to explain the balance that must be achieved while trading.
