Erie has been our home for the bulk of our marriage and family life, which is why it is going to be so hard to leave. It’s the only home our kids have known, but they seem ok with our impending move, albeit a little apprehensive. I expected them to react much worse to the news, but there were only a few tears. I think it will help them to be involved with the packing process. And, I think they are intrigued by the idea of having their own rooms. Well, at least the twins are excited about not having to share a room with Alex. I can’t say that Alex is excited about having his own room. He wants to be with his bubbies. I'm really excited, and it only dawned on me yesterday, that I only have a week of singledom left!! I'm sorry to do this to you guys halfway through Rock of Love, but I've just got to take a break. I'll be taking the next month or so off to try to get my juju back. I've been blogging for a little over a year, and it's starting to feel like a second job, with all the fun and delight implied by that phrase. I worry that it's started to show in my writing, and as readers, you deserve better than that. I'm not sure what I'll do after the break; I might jump back into this blog with renewed vigor. I might change the format or cut back on my posting frequency. I might see if I can join another site so I won't be the only party responsible for content. I really can't say right now, but as soon as I figure it out, I'll let you know. Feel free to poke around in the archives or visit the awesome sites on the right-hand bar there.
