1. My pattern has a one-piece collar. Am I right in thinking that I could cut this pattern piece into two pieces, dividing the collar from the stand, then add back a 1/4" seam allowance to the top of the stand and bottom of the collar?
2. The facing to my shirt front is quite different from hers. Both patterns have the facing as part of the front pattern -- self-faced? Anyway, mine has a much longer neck facing. My shirt front pattern piece is Massachusetts, and has a pronounced Cape Cod. Margaret's shirt front is more like Utah. That means mine has a back neck facing and hers does not, right? Anyone familiar with the Islander shirt video know if that means she is going to do some nifty trick that will leave me flummoxed?Last post by Tailypo
