The Tim McGraw cruise this past winter was apparently a success. It will be interesting to see if more coutry artists do the same type of thing for their shows. For those of you that missed it, the cruise involved 3 days and nights on a carnival cruise ship with country concerts every night with Time McGraw as well as other artists such as Jamie O”Neal, The Nashville Hitmakers, Jypsi and Chris Cagle. Other events included Texaas Hold”em Poker where the winning player could get $20,000! It would be great to see more artists have things like this! Atlanta Braves manager Bobby Cox tied a record on Saturday, that he would rather have never gotten anywhere near. Cox was ejected during the Braves loss to the Detroit Tigers by a 2-1 margin, for the 141st time in his Major League career. The ejection tied former New York Giants manager Iron John McGraw's record for most ejections in a MLB career. He actually now has 14 more than McGraw did as a manger, McGraw was tossed 14 times as a player. Cox when interviewed a few weeks ago said he was embarrassed by all of the ejections, and it was not a mark that he would celebrate.
