      At some point between infancy and adulthood most kids will develop a few fears. Frequently they will be rational, like a timid response to a German Shepherd that outmatches them pound for pound. Others can be worked around. For example: I've managed to convince my own kids that unless candy is changing hands there's really no point in overcoming the fear of strangers who invite you to join them in a public restroom.Therefore my kids are mostly fearless. I say "mostly" because due to my method of shock-parenting they haven't developed fears of normal things such as snakes or fire. Instead they are afraid of things like marbles. Seriously.
