Sometimes you need to wait for your subjects to relax in order to take a spontaneous picture of them. Here I waited long enough for my subject to almost doze off, which gave this portrait the lush feeling of a lazy summer afternoon. During the shot I slightly rotated the phone (Sony Ericsson K800i), in order to obtain a delicate circular blur. You can obtain this also with a Photoshop filter.

This here is some portrait art I did a few years ago, I like it a lot, and a viewer can really feel the warmth this figure(a pretty girl) gives off. Her friendly smile exudes joy and happiness...it really communicates a friendly atmosphere. This portrait came about because of my being taken by the beauty of this young woman. Her face just said draw me...draw me. SO I DID! And the rest is history.
This is a self portrait that I worked on when I got bored of working on my real design homework. I based it off of a picture that my brother took of me in Vegas. I thought that it turned out pretty well.
