Quick Look is a way to quickly preview files in Leopard. Simply hit the space bar and whichever file is selected in the Finder will expand to give you a sneak peak of the file. This means you can watch videos, listen to songs, view presentations and flick through the pages of a PDF document without even opening it. Here are a few ways to enhance Quick Look.Index SheetIf you select multiple files before activating Quick Look, you'll just be shown a preview of the first file. There are buttons to flick forward and backward through the different previews, but much more interesting is the Index Sheet button. Here is a quick look at some statistics we pulled out of the multiple listing service for Loudoun County rental activity. Unlike home sales, rental statistics are less comprehensive in the multiple listing service because many more people chose not to use a real estate professional to rent their properties and a lot of management companies do submit rental information to the MLS.
That being said, there is still enough data to identify trends and other observations regarding the rental market here in Loudoun County. It also allows us to offer some conclusions as the cause of trends in our marketplace.
Here is a chart showing the increase in rental rates for 1 and 3 year periods for the different types of properties in the eastern part of Loudoun County which includes Ashburn, Sterling, Leesburg and South Riding.

If you installed OS X 10.5 (Leopard) as an ‘update’ (ie. all of your Tiger apps remained installed) and had previously customized your Finder toolbar, you may be missing out on a very neat new feature, Quick Look. This overview will show you how to add it to your toolbar (if needed) and explain how to use it.
If the Quick Look icon isn’t a part of your toolbar yet, just right-click (ctrl-click) somewhere in the toolbar background and select Customize Toolbar.
Drag the Quick Look icon to your toolbar and click Done.

A window will appear displaying the folder name, the number of files it contains, the total size of all the files combined, and the time it was last modified. Hint: instead of clicking the Quick Look button, you can also just press the space bar. Yep, that’s the keyboard shortcut for Quick Look. Absolutely. Brilliant.

This is a no-brainer to lovers of Southwest art and design and people who live near Native American populations and reservations. Here on the East Coast we tend to forget how important beads were in the American Indian culture and how amazingly intricate and beautiful much of their beadwork is.
