Well, not technically, but since moving from ever-after.org? Yes! I wanted to do a lot more with the layout, but it’s been so long since I’ve actually designed + coded one from scratch that I got lazy and took the easy way out. Nonetheless, I’m happy with the result, though there is still much to [...]

By the time you or anyone reads this, I will have probably already lost interest in writing my blog. But I'll start with the introduction anyways.
Hi. My name is Ethan Smith, and I've decided to write a blog. I don't know why I want a blog, but I guess I just need a place to share my ideas, complain about hardships, or write about life. Well, I guess that's it. If you have tips for a newbie
Yipee! After hours of laboring behind the computer skin my new blog has finally been born into the blogosphere! Well my blog is still not yet recognized by the blogosphere but I will do my best to write interesting stuff about my life, thoughts, experiences, and learnings as a student nurse (SN) and as a Filipino Immigrant in Canada (FIC).I have two other blogs if you want to visit them Grim Angel and My Nurses Notes but I guess that I'll be moving to my new home here. But I'll be keeping Grim Angel though. I made this blog because I was having difficulty in maintaining a blog about my personal life and my life as an SN. Therefore I made a blog that combines both my life. That way I don't have to worry about things like what to post in the other blog and the likes.Well as you see my blog i
Welcome! My goal here is to journalize my path to a healthier new me. I am currently on a path to a healthier new lean self and hope you will read along with my progress. If I can motivate you along the way, all the better.
Hi there, thanks for stopping by. My goal in this blog will be to journalize my journey to a life without debt. I am an engineer and solve difficult and nearly impossible tasks for a living, so why should our finances be any different. I have already been working at this for a couple months and have made great progress. I will enter my progress and hopefully I can help motivate any readers, just as I have been motivated by others. I will also post up my tips and some great links and resources to saving money, paying off debt and getting back control of life.
Well, let’s see if this works or not.
I’ll be posting Bible Studies and just rambling Christian thoughts here.

It's hard to start off a first post, so I am just going to cut to the chase. It is the middle of March 2008, and we are out of college both working full time for the first month. We have a set of goals we would like to acheive: have an emergency fund, pay off loans, save for an early retirement, save for a down payment on a home. To reach these goals we have decided to "tax" ourselves monthly, paying towards the goals the same way you would pay off a car loan or any other regular monthly expense. This blog is a way for us to keep track of how well we are doing with our budget, make sure we are on track paying off goals, and to learn as much as we can from other PF bloggers and their experiences. Here are our main goals for 2008:Set up an emergency fund of six months expenses: ~$10,000We ha
I've always loved Romance Novels. While I share a love of most popular fiction, Romance Novels are what I devour. I called them my brain candy- fluff, basically. I was an English major who had just as much love of Shakespeare and Lord Byron as Nora Roberts and Lisa Kleypas. It never occurred to me that I could ever incorporate my love of literature and romance novels. One was read for pleasure, the other to expand my mind. It didn't occur to me that I could do both, within the same field. However, this last semester (Fall 2007) and this semester (Spring 2008) I took a series of courses that made me realize that I could do both loves at once.So after trying and failing to incorporate my two interests in a variety of formats, I finally hit on creating an independent study where I invest
My first post with PPP is approved! It's really fast, it gets approved in less than a day. I'm so excited and can't wait to be writing more to achieve my dreams. In the meantime, I still got to learn a lot on how to create interests on my blog.
It could be a lack of googling skills, but I can't seem to track down a site detailing or reviewing any of the 10 thousand radio stations available via Reciva on my Wifi radio. I switch it on and there's just TOO MUCH choice. So this is my attempt to fill the gap. I'd love to hear other peoples opinions on the stations I review or stations they know and love. So add comments or drop me a line if y

Hi guys its a new blog i made. I decided to make a new blog today because its my day off and cant do anything. Anyways, its a Valentine's Day today and i want to greet everyone and i want to make a little research when and how valentine's day started.VALENTINE'S DAYValentine or Valentinus, is the name of at least two celebrated saints. The most celebrated are the two martyrs whose festivals fall on February 14, the one, a Roman priest, the other, bishop of Terni. It would appear from the legends that both lived during the reign of the emperor Claudius (Gothicus); that both died on the same day; and that both were buried on the Via Flaminia, but at different distances from Rome. Many authorities believe that the lovers' festival associated with St. Valentine's day comes from the belief tha
It is currently around 11 pm on a Fri night. I got home from work a couple hours ago, had a few beers and then became bored. I started this website about 2 weeks ago but have been skeptical about writing. But tonight, I thought fuck it, why not. So, here goes... my attempt at writing about my experiences as being a stockbroker for a prestigious Wall Street firm.First off, let me explain what kind of stockbroker I am. I do not sell stocks. I do not get paid with commissions. I get paid salary for answering my clients' questions and conversing about the stock market; and yes, I am a licensed stockbroker. The difference between me and the stereotypical stockbroker is that I know how to trade and I know how the market works. The rest just know how to sell. I know this because I have to answer

Lilian gave me this interesting meme. Somewhat my IE always hang when I visited her blog today. It took me a few ‘hang’ visits to get to know what the task at hand. (if you read this, Lilian, can you fix the glitch?)
The meme is like this: You are supposed to recycle your very first post. Copy and paste the first post and then see how much you have improved, changed, turned lousy, etc.

I has done stepped up to the challenge mah blog sistah Groovygrrl placed before me. I am writing my first post for NaBloWriMo (in the long form, it's National Blog Writing Month).NaBloWriMo is a challenge that was first issued by Groovygrrl in 2006, and I stepped up to the plate by writing lots o' essays about my dad. This time 'round, I'll be writing about Dad and other stuff that interests me...and today, here's what interests me.Thank you, YAHOO...for posting a really neat article about S.E. Hinton, who is the author of one of my favorite books of teenage-dom. That would be The Outsiders. Click HERE to read the article in full. (My favorite principal Brian should appreciate this tribute since Hinton is a fellow Okie...)I didn't even realize this, but according to this article, The Outsiders is 40 years old. Wow. This book is one of those "life-changing" books, at least for me. I remember hearing about it because there was going to be a movie released, based on said young a
Welcome to the Weightlossweapons blog. This is my first official post and I thought I would start it off by introducing myself.
My name is Steve and over the past year or so I have finally dropped those 35+ lbs of ugly unwanted fat. I’ve struggled for the past ten years to lose weight and every attempt has failed, until now. I have tried almost every popular diet out there including the South Beach Diet, The Abs Diet as well as following the Weight Watchers Points plan.
So what changed? Why have my efforts paid off this time? The answer was not that there was a problem with the diet plans I followed. They all work and plenty of people have lost weight with them. The answer for me was information and motivation. I have learned so much about how to lose weight safely, through proper nutrition and a regular exercise program.
I want to share what I have learned and show you how you can lose that extra weight you’ve been carrying on you for years. That is why I cr

It has been a week since I first set foot in this 'land of opportunities'. Bored with the 'busy' terms in IIM Indore, thought that studying in another college would provide you ample time to chill out. But the way the classes are progressing, I don't think I would get that much needed time to chill out. :(But otherwise, it has been a great experience. I am very excited about this because I intend on exploring all the fabulous pink blogs that the blogosphere has to offer. As a result, I will be starting to PinkList blogs. As I review the blog, I will add them to my PinkListed blog list here. I will make a little badge maybe too and perhaps they will want to add it to their blog.
I am very excited about this opportunity and it should be a lot of fun reviewing great pink blogs in the blogosphere.
So this is obviously my first post for this soccer blog. I guess I hope to bring you the latest soccer news and add some insightful comments based on my opinions about what's going on in the football world at the moment. I'm probably going to post my favorite youtube clips with commentary cause they're a lot of good ones out there to watch!Anyways, I hope you find this blog interesting and informative, it's sure to grow as I'll try to post as often as I can!

Subject: I don't understand...
I've seen you put your name in nearly every yogic crevice, niche, nook, and cranny conceivable in Minneapolis, and it only seems to be growing. You seem to be proselytizing yourself more heavily than a newly converted fire-and-brimstone Christian (less fire and brimstone, of course). I've read some of the things you've written, and I can't say that any of it is anything new, or even spectacularly worded. It's pretty much repeat of the same yoga lit. that can be found written by Paramahansa Yogananda, Sivananda, Vivekananda, and many other sources, traditional and contemporary. You seem to be bent on having people come to you for your knowledge.. answering questions. It looks self-glorifying and is starting to even look cult-ish.
Consider that as the preamble for my question to the yogi... WHY?

Hi,this is the very first post on this blog, and you may be one of its first readers, so let me thank you. Now, "pictoblog" what's that?Apart from being undoubtedly a lack of inspiration when creating this page, it is meant to be the official blog of a soon-to-be-born service called PICTOGAME.Keep peeping in here: in a week or so, my friends and I will launch something fun. We're working hard to be on time, and we're desperate that you'll like what we're preparing you.In the meantime, you can still have a look at our alpha test on http://www.pictogame.com and leave us your impressions below.See you guys.Bastien.
Up to this point in this blog, (although the major color is green on this page) I have not addressed designing green kitchens, creating a green kitchen life within whatever kitchen you have now, and green kitchen design issues overall. I am a person, in general, who is open to new ways of thinking, always, and this issue must be addressed. While I am not a treehugger, I do hear the drum beat about the importance of taking care of our planet, our natural resources, and doing our part. At this point, I am probably more "Lite Green", as I have heard the term used, describing those who incorporate some form of green living into their lives, where they can. That would probably be me. I've consciously cut down on electrical usage, recycle, bought up lots of flourescent bulbs, admittedly not for everywhere in the home, and try to be aware of my energy usage. Sometimes I am forgetful. My husband is even more on board with this than I am. My idealistic son is involved in this movemen

STONE AGE - NEOLITHIC PERIODThough there is evidence of navigation in the Aegean as early as 9,000 B.C., the first evidence of systematic communities in the Aegean Islands dates from the Neolithic Period (6,800 – 3,200 B.C.). The first evidence of community life on Paros was discovered on the small island of “Saliagko” (between Paros and Antiparos) one of the most ancient settlements in Aegean Prehistory.BRONZE AGE (3200 - 1100 B.C.)Three great civilisations emerged during the Bronze Age (3,200 – 1,100 B.C.) within the geographic area which comprises modern day Greece: the Cycladic Civilisation (3,200 – 2,000 B.C.), the Minoan (or “Pre-Cretan”, 2,000 – 1,500 B.C.) and the Mycenaean (1,600 – 1,100 B.C.). Remnants of a Pre-Cycladic settlement were discovered on the “Fortress Hill” above Paroikia and significant finds dating to the same period have been discovered in other areas of the island as well (Kambos, Dryos, Koukounaries, Plastiras, Glyfa and Farangas). When I got back after the New Year I took a look at my stats and found that I had been getting quite a few hits from Google with the keyword MyLot. After doing the search myself I saw that this blog appeared on the first page of the results, which was a bit of a suprise. I've only done one post about MyLot and it's only appeared in a couple of my recent reports so

Have you ever met Jodi? I don't know what you could get from her. But I'm sure it's something. Don't be fooled by the copyright date. From Wikipedia:To those that aren't in on their conceptual jokes, Jodi's works seem inaccessible and impenetrable, appearing to make the user's computer run amok. For example, their 1995 work http://wwwwwwwww.jodi.org/ appears at first glance to consist of meaningless text, until a glance at the HTML source code reveals a detailed diagram of a hydrogen bomb. Their work challenged expectations of the behavior of the computer, created humor from the misery of the glitch and the virus, reanimated obsolete technologies, and satirized the ocean

The name I've chosen for my blog is a metaphor that represents our finacial progress in a climbing , upward moving motion...hopefully. I'll use it to record and measure the finances of me and my wife. I've come accross so many interesting and impressive blogs recently, that it's inspired me to create one of my own. I suppose I'll consider this post, the first step on "The Financial Ladder!"
Here are the first pics from Japan. I also want to introduce you to my little Japanese nephew Taito. He's a cute little guy, but also busy and very energetic. He's now two and a half year old. I saw him for the first time two years ago when he was a baby. I expected that he would be scared for a big guy like me or at least shy, but not at all. Within 10 minutes after we arrived he was already sitting on my lap and asking for attention. Here are a few pics that my mother in law took. This one I took: I was impressed by Taito's chopstick skills. Later this day Noriko and I went into town to check for a new ramenplace. For those who don't know what ramen is check this info. The place we went has a website but unfortunately it's only in Japanese. When it comes to efficiency some Japanese restaurants can't be beaten. Most of those efficient places you don't go for dining the whole evening, you go there to have a quick and if possible a good meal. First you buy tickets from a vendingm
