      People should throw away cantaloupes from a Honduran manufacturer believed to be linked to a salmonella outbreak, the government said Saturday. The Food and Drug Administration issued the alert for the melons from Agropecuaria Montelibano. Grocers are advised to remove from their stock any cantaloupes from this company. People should check with stores to see whether recently purchased cantaloupes came from Honduras. Fifty people have become sickened in 16 states and nine have become ill in Canada after eating the cantaloupes. No deaths have been reported, although 14 people have been hospitalized, the FDA said.       Nissan is recalling nearly 700,000 Altima and Sentra passenger cars to fix problems with a sensor that could lead to engine stalling. A spokesperson for the Nissan Motor Company says there have been no reports of crashes or injuries tied to the issue. However, the problem could cause the engine to stop running with no warning while the car is being driven at low speeds. The company says owners should take their cars to dealers to reprogram the electronic control module. More than 650,000 of the recalled vehicles are in the United States, with the remainder in Mexico and Canada.
