Crunchy Ivy Gourd/Kovakkai with Masala

Return of Ivy GourdWell..since it is good for health i tend to buy this veggie every alternative week. this ivy gourd is rich in protein and fibre and it prevents certain enzymes which are those to produce glucose in our body. i also prefer each alternative week to buy bitter gourd. i strongly have faith in Food is Medicine. and Health is Wealth.To prepare Masala you need:1. Grated coconut-3 spoons2. Red chilli's-23. Small onions-74. This recipe is one among which i learned from my neighbour..when we were in bangalore. she just made this in minutes..were i kept gazing at her surprisingly..how she could chop the vegetables so fast.(since iam very slow in it).Ingredients:1. Ingredients:1.Bread slices-5(remove the edges and cut into cubes)2.Milk-1 cup3.Sugar-4 spoons4.Ghee-1/4 cup5.Apple-6 slices(remove the skin)6.Banana-17.Pomegranate-1/4 cup8. Kesari colour-very little pinchMethod:In a skillet, add 3 spoons of ghee and roast the bread slices till they reach golden colour.keep it aside.Grind the fruits apple,banana and pomegranate along with sugar and half of the milk specified into smoothie. This gives a violet colour smoothie. Now In a skillet add the smoothie along with the rest of the milk and let it boil. Now add the bread slices and mix well.. when the halwa starts sticking to the kadai..add ghee and mix well. Iam a Sambhar Fanatic. I particularly love the Sambhar's with the combination of vegetables. I feel this particular combo will impress you all, as it did with my family. The most important thing i wanted to convey is..the price of Drumstick 's. since i was in a hurry..i picked up the drumstick's, without checking it's price. To my Big Surprise the cost of Drumstick was Rs.14.can you digest..but those two thick and lengthy drumstick's ..made me to take them to my kitchen finally. My hubby was shocked to hear..For buying Drumstick's for 28rs bcoz. he says Iam a big Kanju's. This one is my favourite Break-Fast dish. As I can prepare this within 10-15 minutes and a healthy one too. i make this quite often.Ingredients:1. Chapathi or Roti's2. Grated Carrot3. Grated Cabbage4. Green Chilli's sliced finely5. Soy Flakes /Granules6. Onions finely chopped7. Corriander Leaves8. Salt9. I love both brinjal and peanut. i have tasted this dish in a andhra-speaciality hotel. Ingredients:1.Brinjals-42.Peanut -5 spoons3. Grated coconut-4 spoons4. Turmeric powder- a pinch5.
