Is it a blog without words? 2008-10-06 20:01:31 No, I think not. I think then it turns into a tumblelog or a stumbleupon or something. So despite the late hour I shall pen a few words. Today I think, fingers crossed, I have got the blogroll sorted, after more hours than I care to mention tinkering with the php. It was a simple change, but took me an age. Anyway, now I can order my blogroll as I choose and hopefully that will be the l
On the absence of Blogroll 2008-10-05 16:42:05 Just thought I should make a brief post to explain this. Basically, to keep a long story long, I was advised after the event of a change to my hosting DNS servers and have had to redirect my domain names. I was in Somerset library at the time, with three minutes left on my session, so it was less then ideal. Luckily I just managed to email the previous post to myself before I had to log out. Posting from a Library… 2008-10-04 06:38:42 Right now I am in Castle Carey for the Childrens carnival later today. I shall try to get pictures onto my phone for later… it could be quite visually pleasing if the rain keeps off! This goes to show the blog addiction has hit hard, even though this offers a lovely quiet respite from the inevitable family drama as a bonus! I brought my laptop, but to hope for wireless access was expecting too m Read more:Library

OK, last post I promise! The Space Vixens are coming to take me away! 2008-10-02 20:33:29 ‘k ‘k - I know précis was never my forté but I am going to keep it to the point… Now, where was I? Oh yeah, the wench thing… well I’ve come to the firm conclusion that one of the “wenches” in the defining video clip actually must BE a KATIE Rallison…. I had assumed that was some wenchworthy celebroty (myself being beyond my “wenching” years!) and as we all know Google is our Read more:promise

OH great - like I need Cialis! 2008-10-02 19:33:05 OK so I just got my first comment spam.,… sort of makes me want to hide my blog under a Frigging great bushel! There’s a positive side to everything though - and in this case it made me reread my first ever blog entry and particularly the closing remark… which was actually linked to this idea. Now please bear with me, because what I should ideally like to do is take the concept to a whol Read more:Cialis

My site of the day today! 2008-10-01 08:19:57 *sigh* well this WAS going to be a more exciting post than it is turning out…
You see I heard of this innovative new dictionary site from the Indie today, which in it’s online incarnation seems to be throwing out early editions with ‘net related news stories a lot these days. Anyway, the concept is a simple but sort of fun one. People make short clips offering the definition for a word.
Feeds and fiddling and a forum of sorts… 2008-09-30 21:00:17 OK - well my previous post was nice and arty and I’ll leave it like that, so see below for that pleasant distraction. This post will be in somewhat of a contrast, starting from social observation and devolving into progressively more geeky matter, so if I lose you at any point just skip ahead to the pretty picture below and checkout the link.
Well this article today alerted me to this new foru

me, OK?). My reaction? I just sort of hope the rice gets eaten afterwards… I know it may sound a strange reaction - but when it runs into the hundreds of tons! To a third world family that use for rice would be frankly baffling! I guess this goes to show I am no art critic! Would love to see other peop
Blogging bookshelves and employment 2008-09-29 17:07:53 I’m thinking of the Kevin Costner movie “Field of Dreams” at the moment, maybe every blogger has that feeling, it is like “build it and they will come” but I know I shall not always make a post that especially entertains with a particular attitude. At least not so far as I can tell, but then I probably get easily bored by myself.
I’ve wondered idly from time to time if a blog could b Read more:Blogging

A celebrity of sorts 2008-09-28 16:58:28 I know that a post or two back I said I would be mentioning celebrity, so I’d better elaborate. I can remember a classmate from school who was always making jokes and generally being something of a comedian. So somehow it came as no surprise when I more recently started to hear him on the radio. At school he had a longer name than the one he uses now that he has achieved minor celebrity st

posting it here (although it really has nothing to do with me per se!). If you want to read the background to it then look here. If you listen to the audio it will give you the definition for Didactic too. I taught myself a lesson here too, because I found the site and spent a good deal of time getting the video cli
